I don't care for the mini paper cutouts or tower defense, but there is something about this game that is very addictive. Each stage is a bit of a puzzle and requires you to manually control the placement of your characters throughout the entire match. The way the event rewards tear at the perforation like actual tickets gets me every time. There are a lot of extras and side missions to complete in order to improve your characters and a lot of different characters, in general. There is not as much pressure to have only the highest rarity, since there is a very complex upgrade system. I've found that even some lower rarity characters are just as valuable as some of the highest. In this version, DeepColor (or something along those lines) is a perfect example. When placed, she unlocks two tentacle creatures that can also be used, which is like adding two additional characters to an already full team. I was disappointed that the original release did not have any conventional ways to store an account, so it was lost when I upgraded phones. Despite being completely in Chinese and mostly manual, it was worth taking the time to learn and play. Now in English and with support for multiple ways to bind an account, I have no excuse to put it down.
